Checklist of things you need before logging onto the myCOPD website app.

Ask reception or your clinical team to create a MyCOPD account for you. ( They are currently free in our area as our health authority has purchased these on your behalf )

You need your email address and password

Internet connection turned on ( you may wish to wait until you have wifi )

Whilst you are at your GP practices, why not ask them if you can be set up for viewing your records online, or booking appointments etc . The practice can give you the linkage codes that you can use with other tools such as myGP , Evergreen Life or Patient Access

All 3 of the Patient record websites or Apps use the same “Linkage Key” which you obtain from your GP practice.

Digital things like this are easy to use once they are up and running, but can be a bit fiddly if you are not used to setting them up.

If you are having problems getting going with myCOPD or any of the records access sites or apps, then please contact reception and they can let you know what support is available.

e.g. via BPRCVS organisation . They offer a range of support and services to people in Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale. They can be contacted by telephone on  01282 433740

Another option is to ask a friend or relative if they could help you .

If you have any problems in using myCOPD please speak with reception .
