How to Book Appointments

Dear patients , this has been a challenging year , and our patients and staff have had to adapt to new ways of accessing healthcare.

The next year is looking much brighter – we are pleased to say that Reedyford Healthcare is the host practice for the Covid-19 vaccinations which began last weekend. This is a team effort across Pendle West with admin , reception staff , Nurses and GPs from practices across Pendle stepping up to support the covid vaccination plan.

Practices will contact you when we are ready to offer you the vaccination. The NHS has defined which groups of patients will get vaccinated first. We will be running vaccination programmes throughout 2021 – but this depends on when we get delivery of the vaccine.

Please consider getting vaccinated against Flu vaccine if you have not had this already. Being vaccinate against flu protect both yourself and those you live and work with.

There are 4 main options for booking GP appointments at present.

  1. Complete a doctorlink online form – this is suitable for problems which do not need an urgent response or prescription . Completing the Doctorlink form online enables you to include information about the problem or question . This will be reviewed by our team during regular working hours ( Monday to Friday , excluding Bank Holidays )
  2. Use NHS 111 online
  3. Telephone 111 if you need to speak with someone about a health problem and it is not an emergency .
  4. Telephone the practice to speak with the reception team when the practice is open.

Patients can also use the MyGP app for booking appointments and ordering medication. There are currently not many appointments on the MyGP app for patients to book directly as we are mainly using Doctorlink to enable patients to start the process of booking an appointment or asking about a query. By using Doctorlink you will be helping us to help you much better.

Please telephone reception if you are not able to use the internet or online services.
